Frequently Asked Questions

What is a temporary hearing?

A temporary hearing is a hearing that sets the "game rules" during your divorce. At the hearing, the court will determine who lives where, where the children will live, visitation, child support, spousal support (if any), and who pays for what bills. This is "temporary" meaning that the court could change things at the final hearing.
