Frequently Asked Questions

What is discovery?

Discovery is an attorney's tool to find out information. Usually an attorney will send out Interrogatories. These are questions that you are required to answer. The attorney may also request certain documents from you such as bank statements, cell phone records, etc. You may also have to give a deposition. This is when an attorney asks you questions and you answer them under oath with a court reporter taking down the questions and answers.
