Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I am questioned by police officers in connection with a crime or an ongoing investigation?

Do not speak to the officer or investigator. They may tell you that you are not a suspect in the investigation, but that may or may not be true. If you are approached by an officer or investigator and asked if you mind answering some questions, you should immediately respond that you would be glad to schedule an appointment with them at a time when your attorney can be present.
